Fruits & Vegetables
Going to the grocery store is both an exploration for things to eat and things to paint. I look at the textures of the fruits and vegetables. Is the skin smooth, shiny, or dull? Do they grow on a stem or on the ground? What does the weight in my hand feel like? Is it hard or mushy? What is its color and shape? What does it smell like? Is it worth painting or just a good choice for dinner?
